Our brief was to furnish the home with refined, unpretentious pieces that complement its bold architectural form while ensuring everyday comfort. Designed for both lively gatherings and peaceful retreats, each setting balances scale with intimacy — generous enough for guests, yet inviting when it’s just two.
Across multiple indoor and outdoor living areas, a cohesive palette of materials, textures and tones creates an effortless flow. The result is a home that feels considered and connected — timeless, layered, and deeply comfortable in its spectacular Queenstown setting.
LIVING ROOM
A super-sized modular sofa anchors the space, complemented by two generous swivel chairs and a luxurious sheepskin beanbag — creating room for everyone to gather and unwind.
The sliding table, designed to move seamlessly across the ottoman, offers flexibility for entertaining, while side tables are thoughtfully positioned for ease and balance.

Layers of texture and a palette drawn from the alpine landscape mirror the shifting tones outside. The result is a space that feels relaxed yet elevated — a place to sit back, breathe deeply, and take in the ever-changing view.
LOUNGE
A more intimate yet refined space, the lounge is designed for both quiet moments and easy entertaining. Whether reading, hosting guests, or simply unwinding, it offers comfort in every detail.
Velvet sofas, a leather armchair and a plush cut-pile rug in warm rust and olive tones create a rich, tactile palette that flows seamlessly into the casual living area.
A neatly tucked ottoman and a timber-and-burnished metal coffee table add both practicality and polish.

OUTDOORS
On the large elevated terrace, a generous setting of a sofa and two armchairs invites connection with the vast alpine landscape.
The steel frames are upholstered in soft yet durable outdoor fabric, with high-grade reticulated foam inners — a new benchmark in outdoor comfort from one of New Zealand’s leading furniture makers.
Side tables with sintered stone tops provide both substance and style — their sculptural, softly curved forms easy to navigate and sturdy enough to withstand the elements. An outdoor rug defines the space, bringing a sense of intimacy and warmth to the wide-open view
BEDROOMS
Four bedrooms received a refined refresh with new upholstered headboards, layered bed linen, tailored ottomans, and double-track sheer curtains — creating a luxurious retreat for guests and owners alike.
Each room carries its own quiet personality, incorporating treasured rugs and personal pieces chosen by the owners to bring depth and familiarity.
The result feels effortlessly cohesive yet warmly individual — a true home away from home.
